could i use cheap value ram if i want to overclock? if i use a 2:3 divider and have 200 on the memory and 300 on the processor?

It would work fine. Yes, faster ram would yield a modest performance gain, but it would not be much of a gain for your bucks. Just get a good brand like OCZ, Corsair or Kingston. Stay away from brand x rams.

im not gonna be doing these on my setup. my bro is gonna get a comp in a couple months and he only plays older games. thanks tho
