I've got an Eheim 1048 (600 liters per hour) and I'm going to do a massive watercooling job, CPU, chipset, AGP, Hard Drives, and all. This pump can be used inline or submersible. Which is better? Would submersing it in water in a thick plastic case cut down on magnetism leaking out. I've got a lot of hard drives and I'm not sure where to put them.

I am using an inline with a fill line, with a pvc airtrap at the top of the fill line, which I used the idea from someone else in this forum. I just got 2 50mm pvc fittings, the bottom one would go to 5/8" I believe, than I had an adapter to 3/8", shoved that into my fill line, glued some 50mm pipe into the bottom pvc, glued the top pvc, which has threads on top, to the top of the pipe, and have a screw cap to screw into the top. I fill the water in through this device, and I used some teflon goop to fill anything else out that I did not use glue.
