far cry cd-key gone!!!!

ive had the game for about a year now but never really tried internet till a few months ago, but it says my cd-key is already in use and i never gave it to a friend. i never contancted ubisoft but will they give me a new cd-key if i do??????????????????? dont they have to because i think a key-gen stole it?

Bug UBI soft. They'll ask your info. but if you explain the issue they should help you out.. I had to go throught this process with EA over BF:V. Key gen had duplicated my key but they issued me a new one.

Deja-Vu, seems a lot of people are having CDKEY issues lol. I've had this game, both me & a friend tried playing it online. Randomly while trying to connect to servers it would bitch saying CDKEY in use. Then 10 mins later stop, I think there are some server issues or something. Both keys were legit & never used untill that point.

I had experiences with other games. as i mentioned my previous posting. BF:v about 2 months after i bought it gave the same issues "CD key in use" I had to disconnect from the game, reload try again.. same thing...
So i bitched at EA and they finally broke down and deactived my current key and issued the new one. the Key servers would kick boht ppl off the games if the same key was detected I suppose.

But never the less.... Issue resolved. 1 month later! Thnx EA!

I think you can send in the actual disk w/ label and whatever it comes with that shows the CDKEY and they can reset it and give you another one for a small fee. Not so sure.
