Dual Channel Question

I havent come across answers in my travels, But I was wondering if its possible to run 2 sets of memory in dual channel. Such as 2 same sticks of 256mb 333mhz ram with 2X 256mb 400mhz ram? Or 2x256 with 2X512mb 400mhz. Or does this depend on the Mobo? Sorry, I feel like a real n00b

All 4 sticks of memory will have to run at the same speed set in the BIOS.

The memory speed will only be as fast as the slowest ram stick in Mhz and ram timings. At stock speeds most of the time it will work with no problems.

I suspected about the speed. But it should still run?! Cool as. So 2*256 and 2*512 in dual channel will work (in theory). GOod then.

Ram goes only as fast as the slowest stick.
