From what I see, there are 2 diff. PCB designs, I wonder what's the difference?

Why would a chinese company get a prototype card from a canadian manufacturer?

support 512bit Memory internal bus but only 256biy controller

Hmm....I wonder how much of a benefit this will give. It sounds like the Parhelia to me, but that's a pretty bad comparison in itself, I suppose.

They are being manufactured in tawain I believe so that probably has something to do with it.

The prices on the 7800gtx are going down every week anyway! in the uk there down from £350 to £305 even the high clocked ones are cheap now

Don't look for the 32 pipe version for quite a while after the R520 is FINALLY released. I suspect the 16 pipe version will be the first to hit the shelves followed by the 24 pipe version shortly after. I'll bet ATI will hold the 32 pipe version back until Nvidia releases the 7800 Ultra to counter them for top dog spot. Besides, sounds like they are still having yield issues with the 32 pipe versions.

Upgrading my videocard is always discouraging when you see the price tag....Hope its not to much more than 7800gtx..

Yawn, snore, (head hits keyboard and drool comes out of corner of mouth).

We have seen the r520 roadmap, previews, tons of rumors from "reliable sources" and OMG! pretty pictures. Who cares, how boring! If they really have a card why don't they just show us some real specs, run some benchmarks and release the effing card.

What good is one vid card on some Chinese dude's desk.

I can't run games on hype.

Bet if there weren't any rumors, or pictures around, you'd be like "omg plz, where are the pictures and the specs?

We know at least there are 32 & 24 pipes version, and that they will match the 7800gtx.

That's one huge card. In small cases it will severly limit the entire case airflow, so be prepared for higher temps...

Cobalt

I don't know why people are complaing about the size. Its the same length as the 7800GTX and if you read the source then you'd know that isn't the final cooling solution.
