what the heck are mutators. and is xan kriegor the last guy you fight.

Mutator are kinda like code plugins, they modify how you and the environment react, by adding or removing options. Like new adrenaline moves, new weapons and things like that.

I believe the last guy you fight is Malcolm (sp?) but i can be wrong. Been quite a while since the last time i played in solo.

Mutators add weapons, characters, weopon properties, sounds, and game dynamics. Don't forget you can also add Maps and even new Game Types all together.

The UT series is completly mod open and friendly. (comes with its own editor)

The last guy you fight in single player is a 1-1 Deathmatch with Malcom (who rules) ( in UT2003, i dunno about 2004)

UT03 = Malcom
UT04 = ClanLord/Malcom/Xan, depending on how many times you pass it

However, if you cbf'd unlocking these characters, goto the ini and type

from memory, cant exactly remember if the 2k3 one is correct, its been a long time since i bothered with 2k3 lol

The Only way I beat malcom in 2k4 was to kill him twice before he got good guns than wait and not respawn and let the timer expire, he is crazy
