i suggest you just get a video card with a tv tuner built in, that would be much easier than having two cards......i have the voodoo 3 3500 and the tv tuner is great, its worked for everything ive tried it with, it comes with a node also so you have some extra in/out cables.....the card would prolly only be like $30-$50 depending on where you get it from......good luck

I've got a Hauppauge tv tuner (WinTv Theater) which is quite good, it even comes with a remote. If you want to find out more, go to www.hauppauge.com ;)

are they any cheapers ones?
Hauppauge wintv-go.
I use one with my vcr and It's great for just about everything. The only con is that you don't get stereo sound, but when I hook it up with my vcr, I just have it running with RCA style cabling into my sound card and hauppauge.
ATI makes something that connects to your computer through the USB port, and alows standard Co-Axial cable in. I think its like 70 bux.
get the ati tv wonder. ive seen it as low as $64(VE version is at $42) on pricewatch. basically a PCI add-on card with a tv tuner and some video capture capabilities.
