Hello

I was just wondering if my dsl would screew up my faxing?
I keep getting errors like isp dosent support modem on hold, and it keeps saying incomming call do you want to answer. Any ideas.

Wow. I really have no idea.

I know xp has faxing built into it, but I never use it.

I'm surprised this post has gone all day w/no replies too.

Are you trying to fax out to an established fax #?

Keep trying.

I'm pretty sure your DSL connection is what's screwing up the works, but I can't say for sure. I would shut off power to your DSL modem then try faxing your documents. If all goes well, then the DSL is most likely the cause of the problem.

Hello

I have tried turning off my dsl. Disconnected the power and phone line on my dsl modem. Tried with and without filters, tried different phone lines in the house, ran a new phone line from the main wire. Talked to my isp and to customer sevice for my phone and no help at all. No conflics with my dailup modem either. This is driving me crazy.

Like always I'm the first out my group to get this going.

Thanks all Fordman
