althonXP's over 1.533ghz?

does anyone know when they migh release faster amd processors over 1.5ghz? i have a 1.4ghz, and i really want the XP cpu, but seeing there only 1.5ghz would be a waste to buy now.. any idea's when they'll relase faster xp's?

that shows cpu at 1800+ mhz not PR rating but actual processor speed, the PR rating is like 2300

Check this thread (http://forums.overclockers.ws/vb/showthread.php?threadid=41037) it contains the AMD processor roadmap and some other interesting stuff.

Looks like early next year we'll get a 1733Mhz Palomino and the die shrink to .13 micron with a 1733 'Thoroughbred' chip.
Jeez, looks like the 'Thoroughbred has about half the thermal output of my T-bird.

Think I'll be holding on. There should be more/better MB's to choose from too.

oh, some ppl said that amd will have 2ghz out my xmas.. i guess they were liein..
oh well.. im gettin the fastest xp for xmas, which every that will be :)
