WoW + 6800GT = Low FPS?

Im not sure if this should go into the game or video section, so please move it if it needs to be. Basically, my friends little bro has a computer lower in comparison to mine, and yet his WoW runs much smoother then mine. I have an AMD Athlon 2500+, 6800GT 256MB, and 1GB of ram, and I am lucky to get ~20-25FPS. Any thoughts?

Theoreticly he should get awesome FPS, are you getting 20 fps everywhere or just places like Ironforge

also whats his FPS in things other than wow

I have the same problem with my 6600 GT...I have no clue what is going on, have defragged, spyware clean up, scandisk, completely wiped out previous ati drivers. In other games the fps seems to be fine though, maybe there is something wrong with the latest patch and nvidia drivers?

EDIT: Not only does this happen in IF but empty places like Feralas.

Ya, as Tatuya stated. I am also using the Omega drivers, as the nvidia released drivers gimped up the game when I alt+tabbed.
