I just reformatted and I went to go to microsoft to download windows media player 10 and it said I couldn't authenticate. Is there any way to get wmp without going through this authentication?

As long as you have a legal version of Windows then you shouldn't need to skip the authentication process ;)

Otherwise i think it would be against the rules :-/

I think I owned Billy ( bill gates ). I typed in "how to download windows media player 10" in google and it came up to a direct download link to it without having to authenticate.

Just install the trixie plugin and select the option to bypass validation.
