Does K6-2 have a L2 Cache?
I've been at my friends house today, ran CPUID and got no L2?

not on chip, its on the mobo near the socket. Thats why it can't find any L2

Yeah, L2 size is dependant upon the motherboard. My Epox MVP3G2 had 1 MB, I think the largest cache you could get on a mobo was 2 MB.

The K6-3 has L2 cache though, making the motherboard cache an effective "L3" cache.
