easiest way is to hide cables in the back behind the motherboard if possible... or just do great neat wiring jobs with cable covers :)

Better than OEM but there's still room for improvement. Put as many wires behind the mobo tray as you can, it'll make a huge difference. Once you get them behind there electrical tape will be your friend!

behind the tray or bundled up in non-airflow-blocking corners.
zip ties are your friend.

you could always just neaten up all the wires (bundle them up somewhere that isnt blocking airflow) and zip tie them

Wire management?
Riiight..
My current system is due to be replaced, so I just took the door off and spiral-wrapped el wire around the power cables...

Zip ties are nice, so are twisty ties. They are free, are reusable.
Or you could step up to the next level and start splicing your own wires.
Nothing like having everything cut to the right lengths & no bulky molex connectors. ;)

I just bunch mine up into a ball and tuck them into a corner. Its ugly and it works (sorta).

I thought about that, but the Thermaltake PSU I'm using (and will be salvaged for my new system) has sleeved cables.
It was not practical to shove everything into a corner. I did, however, remember to tape the unused SATA lines to the back of the mobo tray.
