View Full Version : Now THIS, is a case fan!!! =)
A buddy of mine sent me this pic today...thought I'd pass it along...:D
Now THAT'S some serious cooling...lol
Cheers!
Mr B
**I got asked to edit the pic a bit...I'll repost it below...=)**
dear god
look mommy its a bird
no its a plane
NO its a computer.
what kinda speeds can that thing get.:D
i hope those wheels are the type with locks on them otherwise that case might just take off.
Don't know...don't know where he got it....just got an attached jpeg with an e-mail...lol
I was looking at it with a bit of a "technical eye" though....looks like the "hub" of the fan sits right above the cpu....right in a dead spot for the fan...lol It probably runs hotter now...:p
**If you look close...it's either a slot 1 P///, or a Slot A Athlon**

if you look even closer it has a gorb, why have that fan with that heatsink, lol.
Let's see if this looks ok...:D
Yeah, I know...a fan that big, and he ran a Gorb...lol Why run a fan in the Gorb? (Why run a Gorb at all, is a better question, really...;) )
I was toying with the idea of "modding" my midtower for the longest time... I was running an Asus P3C2000 mobo (i820 Camino chipset), and was thinking of using a "Camino" theme for the case...lol
El Camino that is...:D I've always been a car nut (esp Chevys)....was gonna take a case side, build a mockup of the "Cowl Induction" hood from about 1970 or so, and put the SS "skunk stripes" over it, like this....:D Put a knockoff "El Camino" and "SS" emblem on the front, on a couple of the open cd bays...
**BTW...anyone got one of these?? I'll trade ya the XP1800+ for it...:p **
(Time to move this to lthe "Modding" section, too...)
That case is the craziest thing I've ever seen! Every year down here in Daytona, they have "The Turkey Rod Run". I guarantee it's some of the baddest cars on the face of the earth.

If your throughput is moving at 150 mph, is dust still a problem?

I saw a few posts in that thread that said "that pic is old news, I've seen that before"...thats great and wonderful and all, but this was the first time I saw it, and I enjoyed seeing it.
So Mr B, old pic or not, I'm happy you posted it.
