After some reading around here.
It seems ATI Cards in general, overclock better then Nvidia ones..
Is this conclusion true... Or am I completelly way of?

It totally depends on the card, memory, core and a hair of luck.
There ware some great Nvidia overclockers like the 5900XT and there are some truly bad ATI overclockers like the X800XL.
There was a thread by Sen few weeks ago about ATI and Nvidia memory OCing and if I remember correctly ATI memory is general got lower clocks then Nvidia.
There is one point to remember, the clock speed isn't everything. You need to take into account the number of pipes the core uses, memory type and speed and too high frequency will actually give you worst scores then when the card is at lower frequency.

Well, I'd probably say nVIDIA cards OC better, at least that's what most would probably say. ATI cards usually run a tad better on stock speeds, but nVIDIA cards can OC higher. A big one is also the 6800GT getting to Ultra speeds easily.
And yeah, pipelines do make a difference, doesn't matter if the core speeds are higher, if another card has more pipelines, it'll outperform the other.
I've had more luck with o/cing Nvidia cards than ATI.

And my results say the opposite. It depends on alot of stuff.
The talk of which cards OC the best is always baffeling to me. Isnt OC'ing about getting everything you can for your money? I see people on the forum ask what card OC's the best and it is not really the point. Consider that back in the days of the Pentium II OC'ing got you basicly double the processor for free. That was great. Take a PII 300 and make it a 500 or so. Now if you have a 6800GT that clocks to an ultra thats awsome, a 6800NU that unlocks pipes and comes close to or the same as a GT is even more awsome, and a cheaper card that dosent OC at all but beats the GT is even better. The x800XL may not OC well, but does it give you the best value in its range? Thats what OC'ing is about. Price/performance ration. Me, I leave the 3dmark scores to people like oppainter. Dont worry about which tends to OC the best, sometimes if a card dosent oc well, it just means its out of the factory as fast as it can go and if thats good enough at a given price go for it. My .02

It goes both ways. There are people out there overclocking the cheapest thing to try and save money and there are people overclocking using expensive components to have the best possible.
I would rather revel in their glory as it is an ectremely expensive thing to do. I love reading what those guys can achieve, but they also regularly fry their stuff and have special transports for the LN tanks to go to these events. Anything we do on these forums is pretty amature compared to what those guys are doing, then again, they have sponsors and get paid.... Must be nice.
