DVD drive out of sync with other stuff?

I'm trying to use FairUse Wizard to archive my dvd's to my hard drive. When I do so, the audio is always out of sync with the movie. It works fine on my non oc'd laptop, which leads me to believe that maybe my DVD drive is trying to run faster than it's supposed to, or some other such nonsense.

Is there a way to diagnose what's going on here? Can I lock the IDE speed on my mb?
