I have drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop, and it doesn't work. Something odd happened, and even if you you uncheck it or check it doesn't change.

Solutions? Besides the usual way? Like changing something with the desktop?

check your registry under this key for the following entry values

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

ListviewWatermark, might be 0, should be fine at 0
ListviewShadow. This one should be 1.
ListviewAlphaSelect. 0 or 1, shouldn't make a difference.

I don't understand, is there any program that can fix it?

EDIT: fixed it, I had something under web, in the advanced settings tab, where you change the desktop checked, causing it not to work.
