Not defragging?

For soemreason my fileserver wont defrag because of my ntbackup files from other computers. is there a way to defrag these files?

what are you using to defrag ?

I think you'd be better off relocating them. If you did defrag them there is a good chance you'll corrupt the backup files.

I am using the built in defrag utility. So back up drives cant be drfragged since all the files in it will get corrupted?
