Help!! Cant repair/install windows after upgrade!!

Help!!

I just got my upgrade today and i was so happy. My usual procedure was to repair windows n install new drivers for new stuff to work, coz old drivers conflict n stuff, but it wont do it!!

I did fresh install over the old and its also crashing,

Both with the blue screen of death!!

please help me!! im so ****ed off

new specs are

AMD Athlon X2 3800+ (Its a disabled Toledo core yay!!)
DFI Lanparty NF4 SLi-DR
Xpert Vision Geforce 7800 GTX
as in my sig

alright, i just removed one memory module, and it seems to work, do u think its a defective module or a mb incompatibility?

All of them point to a ram problem.

I would try some different RAM.

BTW, you can google the errors and get the exact links I provided.

and it just told me my processor was an unknown- hammer family, so could a reflash of newer bios help?

A BIOS flash wouldnt hurt. Give that a try and see if it fixes the problem. What Timings/Speed are you running your ram at? DFI boards usually dont like SPD settings, setting them manually would be better. Also, are you running at stock speeds?

yea lol, SPD timings right now coz i didnt wanna mess wif at as soon as i got it,

Format C:\ make sure your BIOS is up to date and supports X2s. Then install WinXP.

hey hey!! custom selected ram timings made the installation go furthur, ill keep u informed, and no, i could never reformat, i hav too much stuff, and btw, windows is on D:\
