After reformatting my sister's hard drive and reinstalling everything, my niece wanted AOL IM installed- since they no longer used AOL, and I didn't think they needed that crap on their system, I looked for an alternative.

I found a good IM Client that is called Miranda- I installed it and it worked great.

Works with AOL, Yahoo and other IM programs.

Spyware free, and very compact (994 kb)
