I can buy 4 of these at autozone and run them in parallel for the price of 1 one of those cool-computing or dangerden radiators. Is there something they have over heater cores other than asthetics that I don't know about? I figure 4 of these stacked in front of a window fan with freeze what needs freez'n.

I dont have any heater cores in town so I just went ahead and got the dd cube
easy to put fans on.........
I think they did a test to see witch is better and I THINK the heatercore did

it depends on the heater core. You want a copper heater core and not an aluminum one(in reference to the piping). People spend the extra money for ease. Its not like the DD Cube is a bad radiator.

Man, If your going with watercooling you shouldn't care about ease. I'm going over to autozone or pep boys and getting a couple of 1 ton van heater cores(those should be big for all those cubic feet) for $14 each as hooking them up in parrallel for less pressure drop and more cooling. And I won't have to buy any special 120mm 12v fans, I'll just cob-job em' to a window fan and set it all out on the roof outside the window for some nice cold air.

I've never been lanning, but I guess I would bring my current system if I was lucky enough to have someone invite me.
