2.1 will not connect

I've got 2.1 installed and it will not connect to get/send data. I just fired it up, put "rugby" as my name "32" as the team and let it rip. It cannot connect for anything. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling with no changes.

Any ideas?

There is a problem with the way it needs to connect. MS Client for Networks or MS Family Logon(one or the other from what I can tell) needs to be bound to the TCP/IP stack for some reason.
Not a very good solution. There was a huge topic of discussion over at Team Helix http://www.dslreports.com/forum/folding

I haven't checked back and don't know about any other solutions just yet.

Well, somebody trashed the Network Neighborhood off this laptop so binding them together right this second won't be possible. This sucks. Any ideas?

I am on the seti team already. I figured I'd just have this laptop do fah. OH well, time to put seti on it.
