Hey guys,
I'm having some trouble with my CPU, I put some arctic silver on it, and it runs at about 116F. Before this it would run at about 116. The other day, I was just monitoring the temp right when I booted up, and it idled at 116 then spiked to 230F, I think that it was misread, but since then, Windows has been taking about 4minutes to boot up, and runs very slowly, it locks up after a couple of hours. I thnk that this is a software problem, seeing as how I put on some Kodak digital camera stuff. I took it off and still. Should I fdisk? Windows is being a .........and I want to overclock. I have an AXIA so I want to get that thing going, but am not sure with this whole thing. Can anyone help me out with this? Is windows screwed? I know that Windows is pretty much 100% guaranteed to crash, but whats up? And what do I use to get thermal paste of my CPU? Thanks
