Intel p4 640 China

I just got my 640 today and its a China is something wrong with the China chips? Coulda swore I heard somethin.. :(

There's nothing 'wrong' with 6xx that come from china, it's just that Costa Rica procs are known to OC the best. If you meant you heard they don't OC the best, then you heard correctly.

someone here had a china, and I don't think he could hit 4.0ghz on it. But you never know, firre that puppy up and see what happens

where it was packaged, has little to do, or no coincidence at all with performance.

all chips are made either in oregon/az/ on the p4's. unless they're different steppings, the packaging locations i.e. costa rica/malay have little effect.

Ive got 630 from China, it aint that bad 4Ghz on 1.425V, actually its around 1.37V on full load because of AS8 voltage drop. prime stable.
