Lunchbox!

I have recently built my own system.
AMD 1.33GHz @266fsb, coolermaster2 hsf, abit kg7-raid mobo, crucial pc2100 DDR SDRAM, 4 80mm case fans.
I finally got the thing to boot, and went into the bios. I read the onboard health status, and it said that my cpu die was at 98 farenheit. Which didn't seem like a heart attack. So I helplessly watched as the temp began to rise. It went from 98 to 100 to 102 to 105 to 107 to 109(at this point I turned her off and let her cool down a bit. I was frustrated, so I brought the multiplier down a bit from the 1.33GHz(10x133@1.79vcore volts) rated cpu. I set it to 1300(10x130@1.79volts) no change, still rose, but not as fast. Then I got desperate, and set it to 500(5x100same volts) still rose, but not as high. Is this completely abnormal? I am runing a coolermaster2 heatsink, that was rated for the chip by amd(in fact they sold it in the retail package with it). I know I need to get a new heatsink, but I can't afford it right now. So now it won't even boot. I took it to the store before all this happened, and the not-so-bright technician, decided to make a waterfall with the arcticsilver2 syringe, that smothered the die, when he was testing to see why it wouldn't boot. Would that affect my temps? It is all over the chip itself, as well as the bridges and such, but I wipeds it off the die, and put it on like your supposed to. I am gonna try reseating the cpu again, as well as getting some nail polish remover, and cotton swabs, and see if I can clean it up a bit. Thanks for any help you give me...
