Asus P4C800-E Deluxe motherboard, What is my real CPU temp?

Hi,
Can you tell me the best way to find out my real CPU temp?
In BIOS, the temp is reported at 47.5 deg C, and in Asus probe the CPU temp is said to be 42 deg C.
I believe the temp to be much higher.
Can you recommend a program that gives accurate temps.

Thanks

Ahh since you have a prescott the temps are pretty accurate short of using a thermal probe. Any temp monitoring program you use will read off the same sensor as in the bios.

I would try to track down a program called Everest. Seems to read off of the chipset very well. Will report temperatures from everything it can. It even reports my hard drive temp from where I don't really know :)

If it's this one , seems like it isn't free.
