OC Community,

Has anyone bought anything from a guy calling himself empty wh0re or oblivian whole? I really would like to know if anyone has dealings with him. It involves contacting my attorney general or not. Can somebody vouch for him?

I think Placid was going to buy a Tualatin 1G from him a while back. Check with him to see how the deal went. If it wasn't him, it was definitely one of the other "old-timers" here. Sorry, can't remember for sure.

Godfadda,

Wasn't Placid, could it maybe be Pinky? I'll try him.

Well, I just searched through several older messages and can't find anything. It was a couple of months ago. Whoever was dealing with him was going to send a postal money order in advance. (Hope that wasn't you.) I never read anything about how the deal turned out.

I did find the date. It was somewhere around the end of July. I had been trying to deal with this person on the 26th and 27th, but he wanted cash only. And it was supposedly a T1.13 SL5LV.

I'll try to refine my search to find the person I'm thinking of. Good luck. And if you need any supporting emails, I'll be happy to forward mine your way.

Godfadda,

Cash only huh? That sounds exactly like him. Thanks alot for the help. If this deal turns out to be totally sour then I can try to help other get money back from this dude, if he's burned anyone else.

Yep, cash was the only option. He never did give me his address. There were several ads from him around that time also: CPUs, GF3, etc.

Sorry, I still can't find the message I'm looking for. I read all threads I responded to for a 3 week stretch after the time I talked to this emptywh0re person.

You might ask Mr B if you can post your request in the Classifieds section. May get a few responses from there if he will.

If someone requests cash. Don't do the deal. This is simple common sense.

Remember, you are on your own. Overclockers does NOT support or recommend any sales and /or purchases you make through the Forums or Classifieds.

Watch what threats you make.

You could be held liable yourself if they are misplaced. Overclockers does not and cannot guarantee any deals done through the classifieds. Read the disclaimers.

If you have a problem with the individual, you should file a complaint with the US Postal Service if you mailed anything to him. This is a felony offense on HIS part.
