i'm having the same problem with my 1000E but before reboot, my monitor will turn off first and lights from cdrom, cdr and harddrive all light up. what about you?
well i oc to 120mhz 1/3 FSB then it gets in windows and its like i juss pressed the reboot button ...
i think that's a kind of windows protection, if your agp our pci are to high may do it... take a look at your bios settings, and go 1 by 1 incres. FSB mhz and see what will happen!! take a look and see if you have irq conflicts...Etc
I was thinking my cards cant take it..... hmmmmm
I think it is either my
3com PCI NIC or my cheap ISA NIC thats holding me back
i dont think it's some kind of hardware conflicts because i used to run my system on a 550E @800 without any problem (144FSB). but then after upgrading to 1000E, i managed to run 120FSB only. will boot at 1300 but will auto restart... i think this may be the problems:
1. cpu limitation
2. heat !!
3. power supply
Mine must be the some what PSU... pfft
*pokes that "SPE" psu 230 watt in the head*
