I wan the best and ultimate gaming theatre computer!!!:D

here are the parts i have so far:

1.4 (266fsb) athlon @ 1.575
a7v266
512 pc2100
Ati Radeon 8500
8*DVD
52*CD
12*8*32 cdrw
52" flatscreen highdef. TV:cool: :cool:
500WATT rciever with Dolby Digital and Digital DTS Surround
big ass speakers(15" subs)
10 gig 7200 RPM
17"svga monitor (piece of crap)
5disc CD changer.

This is my kick ass theater system but i need a suond card. what do you guy suggest?(digital output would be prefered)

pretty sure the Audigy is the kick-assinest card out there

Yeah I believe it has optical outs. And don't forget, youre gonna want something that is 4 channel for that really 5.1 experience...

for sound quality your big ass 15's aren't going to cut it. There to big to be accurate. They may put out a ton of bass but they will not be that accurate.. For the ultimate check this out

the soyo dragon motherboard has a built in 5.1 sound card with EXCELLENT quality
its not that expenive either

it is $137 from axion tech
its very nice with built in LAN also
good RAID

hey Big_KiD.....if you want the ultimate speakers you either need nakamichi or Martin Logan. those two are prolly some of the highest quality speakers out there, polk is not even close to as good as these two

OR, PSB, paradigm, B&W, tannoy.

nakamichi is cool, but only makes 1 thing lately. go out and get a new denon, or the marantz. fairly low priced stuff. amazing quality.

when i play UT, neighbors come over ;-)
