w2003 standard server sp1?

I am about to install remote access on a 2003 standard server that DOES NOT have sp1 loaded. Am I asking for trouble unless I install sp1 prior to attempting to implement remote access? Thanks.

Why would you want to forgo SP1? There are no problems with it here on three different servers, two running RAS.
