Hey Everyone...

This is kind of like a poll... Do you use an antistatic wriststrap?

Yes or No (and then tell why or why not).

Have you ever fried a component with or without wearing one?

I look foward to the results for this one,

Usually i do not, but I live in an area that is not too bad for static. the exeption is if I am working on a clients computer. Static electricity will not nescesarily kill a component the first time it is touched, it can be fine for several then, wham, bye bye part.

See the poll made by malpine walis...

DON'T RESPOND TO THIS

Yes, but not around my wrist. Related question: Where can I get anti-static straps in extra-small size without feeling embarassed?

I don't use an anti-stratic wrist strap because I cover the whole desktop with pink anti-static foam and work in short sleeves so that my arms almost always come in contact with it and drain my static-buildup.
