What does the 2.5 V reading pertain to??
there are several voltage readings in my hardware monitor software that came with the Iwill kk266+R. Here is what it is showing me.
VCore Value = 1.79
2.5 V Value = 0.27 (yeah thats right 0.27)
3.3V Value = 3.32
5 V Value = 4.93
12 V Value = 12.07
Now, I understand that there will be some variance from the expected, an for most of the readings, that variance is very small. however, for 2.5v, it shows 0.27. almost a 10th of normal. What is the 2.5V for? My system appears to be running great. It is not overclocked yet, it is merely my first computer to assemble by myself.
CPU = AMD Athlon T-Bird 1.1ghz 11 x 100mhz fsb
Mobo = Iwill kk266+R onboard sound
Cooling = Thermaltake Volcano 6cu
Case = Antec Mid tower w/ 300W 3 way switched power supply
(what does 3 way switched mean?)
case is open sides as I don't have a case fan
512mb pc 133 SDRAM
Ati Rage 128 16Mb
Roadrunner cable modem
Like I say, it is not overclocked yet. It would be, but I have to figure out how to cut a bridge at L6 to lower the default multiplyer. This is because of I will board is part jumper, part bios to alter multiplyer. must alter jumper to change from 100 to 133. use bios to alter the rest. However, won't post because 11 x 133 is too much due to default multiplyer. gotta lower it. Please let me know of any good ideas.
