Is 5568 a decent 3dmard score for a Geforce3, no overclocking done?

That's what nVidia's good at their damn drivers are so effective to the card performance.. :D

Seems OK to me. With little tweaking you can probably get more. And with overclocking you would get much more (see my signature: Asus GF3 V8200d@247/535MHz Athlon@11.5x146MHz = 1679MHz for that score).

Edit: current 3D Mark result was recorded with following settings:
GF3@247/560, Athlon@10.5x163MHz, memory at CL2 manual settings

That's almost exactly what I got the first time. Now download the DetonatorXP drivers and watch in amazement as it jumps ~1000 marks.

Actually that seems a bit low to me. I've seen people with the same setup, reaching almost 10,000 and more! When I get a GF3 or Ti500, I expect to get around 9 - 10K myself! Right now with a Geforce 256, I only get 3003, and thats with the graphics OC'd. I know a GF3 will triple that score at least! You may want to check RAM timings, and get a better, faster HDD!

G3 will not triple a Geforce 256 in 3dmark2k1, it may be close but I doubt it

I suspect that those 9-10K results are done with heavy LOD bias and other adjustment tweakings, with highly o/ced cards and possibly with visual defects on screen.
