View Full Version : Cooling Options - Need Input on Two for X800 Pro VIVO

I just got a Sapphire X800 Pro VIVO a few days ago, which I successfully flashed last night. I'd like to be able to run it as an XT PE and possibly higher (volt mod planned for this weekend), but I want to make sure I can keep the card and case temps as low as possible (no, watercooling is NOT an option  )

What I'm looking at are the two following options:

Option 1:
ATI VGA Silencer 4: Hot air is sent out the back of the case and will keep the case temp cooler

Option 2:
Zalman VF700-Cu: Have seen threads about it being better, but the hot air is circulated within the case, which would contribute to a higher case temp. To help with this, I had thought about getting a PCI Slot fan and having it face opposite this cooler to get rid of the hot air.

Appreciate your input!

EDIT: Did some searching around the forums and found my answer. :bang head
