I am running 4 raptors on a raid 0. For some reason my PCMark05 HDD score is always screwed up. On all the HDD tests it shows either 0 or .01 or some ridiculous score :bang head . I have seen a few others complain about this happening on their Asus MB with dual core intels. If you run PCMark05 and get a really low score like 856 then this is probably what’s happening. I have run other HDD benchmarks like HDTach and ATTO Bench and I get very high scores. My PCMark04 score is #3 in the forums I think so I’m pretty sure my computer is working fine. I set my CPU to default speeds but it didn’t fix the problem. Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

The answer to my question was here (http://discuss.futuremark.com/forum/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=mopcmark05&Number=5358058&page=1&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=0&fpart=1)
I had to add the /usepmtimer value to my boot.ini

Sweet, thanks alot man.
I am having the same problem.
**Edit**
Tried it out and instead of me scoring 0 on the HDD test's I now score like .1, .3 etc..
Anyone have any other fixes?

I’m depressed to hear this fix didn’t help you out. It helped me on everyone of my computers in my house(5 of them). Are you putting a space before you add the /usepmtimer value in your boot.ini file?

I am running SP2 XP Pro with all updates. Are you guys sure you are stable. Does it do the same thing even at stock clocks?

yes, same thing at stock clocks. The HDD scores come back tiny tiny and scew the results so I score ~2000

That thread at futuremark says something about a driver for the X2. Maybe that could have something to do with you guys.

If its anything like mine was then it affects more then just pcmark05. Even pcmark04 ran much smoother once I got pcmark05 working. Don't give up the answer is out there keep looking.
the answer is the pcmark05 v1.1 patch here:http://www.futuremark.com/
