#1: OCZ Powerstream 520W
#2: Enermax SFMA 600W

All on this system.

On number 3 now, Got another enermax since it was an over the counter exchange. This one actually seems to be running a lot cooler & the voltages are more stable. We'll have to wait and see :P

how did you manage to fry those two? Are you sure its not an electrical problem in your house?? Just seems odd to me.

Outlets are fine, We've checked em here, Plus there's 5 other high end systems in the house and there good, but this system is the most power hungry one out of them all. The enermax died when the system was not being used and the ocz started to smoke under full load of video encoding :P

Holy moly, your system must be drawing some juice. Maybe its time for the PC P&C 850, lol or there new 1000 unit.

Acording to http://www.extreme.outervision.com/index.jsp my psu should be rated at 606 watts for 100% utilization. 100% would never be possible however, 572w for 80% utilization is much more reasonable.

Geez dude, you've got the kind of computer that causes brownouts LOL

Yeah I wonder as well. I've had 6 hard drives and DVD burners, 3x 512MB, 256MB FX 5600 (oc'ed) and 2.4GHz P4 (OC'ed as well) in one PC & did a video encoding while burning backup in the background and my PSU is still working fine. Unless your PC draws that much more power, I can't see how you could fry 2 PSU.

I've never killed one. Maybe I'm just not trying hard enough?

Thats no surprise...

12V1 is only 18Amps... You have to ignore 12V2 since thats for the CPU only... So all of your other hardware is using that 18A rail... Not enough... This 600Watt power supply is the same as the 370W Enermax. Both of these PS have the same Amperage on the 12V lines. Just because it says 600Watts does not mean it's 600Watts on the 12V rails... I've said this too many times... Dual Rails supplies are bad news.... Buy a single rail Enermax and your problems will go away!!

How does it explain the OCZ Powerstream blowing up?

Dual core :) 240watts peak for the processor alone at full load.
