I have a chance to trade my modded pc-dl and two 1.6lv's that run 3.3 for two 2.4m0 processors, straight up. Should I take it? It'd be the equilivant of spending another 150 on my third pc-dl.

They are in my possession so I could test 'em. I hadn't yet because I'd have to unhook my waterblocks and undo my wire mods, etc.

Well, the D1 chips, normally top out at 3500 or so, for the good 1's.
The MO's, the sl73l of 2003 usually do 3500 to 3600, the newer sl73l's do 3600, some of them anyhow.
The SL72D's that are 2004 or newer are the 1's that seem to do the best. Which do you have, as to stepping and year?

My d1's won't do much more higher than ~3.35. I tried 3.45 and it was no go. I think it's a chipset issue because I'm only putting 1.7v to the chipset and running well over 200fsb. Monday I'll increase the voltage and try again.

Specs from my D1:
1600DP/512/400/1.30V
sSpec: SL6XK Mfg: Costa Rica

I forget the setping for the m0's and they are at a friends house.

On a nicely modded PC-DL..My MO chips ran at 3675 Stable as a stone, water cooled of course .
