Office 2k service pack probs

I've installed sp1 and sp2 from microsofts site. Now when ever i launch any office app they open close in a few seconds, no error message they just close.

Well at least microsft solved the problems of thier software crashing.

Anyone else had this prob? Any ideas how to fix it b4 i re-install?

First of all, you only need to install SP2. They are concurrent meaning you only need the latest one.

As far as a fix goes, have you checked for updates on Office? You may need to get the latest update for it as well or at least reinstall that latest update. Microsoft works in mysterious ways. Some service packs will wipe out previous ones.

I used the office update webpage and it would not let me install sp2 without installing sp1. I've tried all the other fixes as well (I use bigfix), but still no luck, looks like a re-install. thanks anyway

Youre talking about Office service packs and not Windows service packs right?
