Win Xp how much space?

I am thinking of installing winxp pro however i am concerened with rumours of how much space it takes up as i like to use ghost to backup my system partition and then burn it to cd. I therefore would like to know what the smallest size it can be reduced to by deleting uneceisary files and redundent files.

I wouldn't bother installing it, personally. Its serious Bloatware and Spyware. I don't know about you, but I don't need Microsoft knowing where I live unless I tell them, and I don't need them looking at my porn collection! ^_^

1.2 gigs is its bloated size.

and you cant get rid of much of that so.......................

may have a hardtime saving the OS to use again on another machine. XP has a lot of this built in running on the background so not really needed unless for business than you must do backups.
