I have a dell dimension P-4 with Samsung Rambus 800 w/512mb of ram. I have the 400 mhz FSB. I see input for all other mother boars but dell. It has an Intel OEM board with the 850 chipset. I was wondering if anyone new how to over clock this machine in any particular way? If so please help.

Thank's for the help!:(

It's very unlikely. Most OEM computers use generic motherboards stripped down of any advanced features. OEM computer companies do not want their consumers overclocking the machines. Your only possible recourse, short of buying another motherboard, is to try a program such as softFSB, but I doubt it'll do anything for you. But, since it's a free download, you don't have anything to lose.

batBoy is right......

The branded comps doesn't like you overclocking

ie: if you had an intel board you wouldn't be able to oc no matter what even if u had dip switches or whatever it'll detect your chip...

You mite wanna consider a new motherboard..
