It all started when I decided to build my first AMD system and try overclocking/tweaking.

The case got too hot, so I bought an extra 80mm case fan.

Then I got Arctic Silver.

Then cut a 120mm blow hole in the side of my case.

Then I got rounded cables.

Then I got some cool fan grills.

Then I ran a duct out the window to suck in cold Minnesota air.

Then I got a rheostat to play with the fans.

Then, well, I am sure I am forgetting something.

All of this I read about and learned mostly from the O/C forums, and all of you. Thanks, all.

This is addicting. The computer has become a thing in and of itself. I have more fun playing WITH it than I do playing games ON it.

What's next? Water cooling? I like these Bong cooling ideas I have been reading about. More than anything, it sounds fun.

Thanks again, all. I'm hooked.

U could make a bong that sucks the air from out side and than blow it back out side. But u also need to make sure that the air is not to cold and that u have cold air in your case so it does not condense :}

That's what I am thinking...

Anyway, I want some advice on how much work it is to maintain a bong... How often do you need to refill?

Thanks

Get a second system so you can play with it and not be left out in the cold without a system, should things go awry. I'm not saying buy it all at once, but rather think it out, and buy it piece by piece. I've been watching prices for a good 3 months waiting for the 1Ghz Intels to drop so I can go dual. I have everything else I need. So far they've only dropped $7 here.

Want a laugh? I do have another system:

-200 Mhz P.Pro. @233
-64 Mb [slow] RAM
-Whatever hardrive I have around, that my friends haven't talked me out of...
-CPU is too hot to touch, but still keeps on chuggin'
-I used to think that this thing rocked!

Anyway, you are right, I should build another, in a full tower, unlike mine now in a mid. Then I have one solid, one to play with...
