This website (http://ocinside.de/index_e.html) has found a way to change the CPU ID and claims that it will change to a higher model. example: 3000 venice to FX, or 4000
simply by entering data that will burn onto cpu.
Check it out see if it works. :p

I don't get this. Why bother? I can stick a Rolls Royce emblem on my Toyota, but it's still a Toyota. :shrug:
