I've got a Duron750 on a Soltek SL 75-KAV. I unlocked it, but it never works with any other multipliers that 7.5 and 8.5. I've tried running it @ 7.5 x 133 with 1.85 vcore but it won't even post.
Right now I'm running 8.5 x 110 set via the motherboard jumpers, and +3 to the 110 in the bios. So overall 34.3 PCI Clk, 228 FSB, = 953MHz. Temp sits around 28-35 under load.
It's 100% stable, and I've gotten it to boot up and work at 983 before, but whenever I reboot or shutdown it farks itself.
Not so much errors just won't post or anything, if it does post it ignore the BIOS overclock and reverts to 930 (instead of the +7 set in the BIOS which results in 983). It's getting farking annoying, I'm sure the chip can go higher. I have my vcore @ 1.85 for all of this, and I'm using a 300W PSU.
I'm wondering whether it's worth increasing the DIMM vcore?
I've got a 256MB stick of Winbond PC133 running @ 133.
