even though i don't have the crad yet i made myself a set of shiny based heatsinks for the ram. Thier only 486 sinks, but since the radeons ram runs much cooler then geforces i think it is more than enough cooling.;)

I hope that I am not intruding on your conversation but I saw Radeon 8500 for $249.00 + s & h on Cnet shopper tonight! I was looking becasue my cousin just ordered one from ATI's website and is kind of kicking him self for paying full price to them! I hope I didn't do anything wrong in this post as it is my first and I truely enjoy this site!!!
I am currently designing cases for myself (design phase only, nothing hard; yet) and this site has given me alot of great info for the purposes of air flow, peltiers and water cooloing. hope this helps!

the ramsinks do help if you are overclocking big time. Wait for another dell special before ordering the 8500! Dell rulz with the price of 203 shipped!

Make sure you have a fan blowing on the ram or the heatsinks mean little.
