I'm cheap... i know.
Anybody know of a freeware/decent shareware program to burn ISO and BIN/CUE files to a cd AND create those files in the first place? I have the evalutation version of CDRWIN, and its got exactly what i want... but as i said im cheap... i just have a thing about not paying for applications. :D

Sure its alowed. You just can't say outright "I'm looking for warez0rz, d00d!" :)

As for your question, I don't really think that there is anything out there for free. I think you'll just have to bite the bullet, and pay for your program.

Use Linux - 99% of CD burning progs (believ me there are loads) are FREE. I use XCDRoast, with mkisofs and cdrecord working in the background

Chill out. He's looking for freeware, which is totally legal and acceptable here.

That dosn't solve his problem man. He's obviously running Windows, and probably doesn't wanna switch just so he can burn a CD or two.

If you're going to respond, respond with something that can actually help his current situation. The AMD people got in trouble by telling the Intel people to run AMD to solve all of their problems, and thats basically what you're telling him.

As for your preference in burning software, you might wanna try some other programs as well before you put your money down. Such as Easy CD Creator (I believe they offer a shareware version on the web site, http://www.roxio.com). Thats the one I use, and its great. You might also want to try Nero Burning Rom (http://www.nero.com). Find one that has features you like, and is easy for you to use. There are lots of them out there. Good Luck!

What about the software that came with your burner. I have bought 3 burners over the years (I see a faster burner and just want it) ane they all came with included software. My favourite is Nero.
