I picked up a PSX lookalike controller at CompUSA yesterday. 8 buttons, some turbo switches and such, no drivers. Out of the clearance bin, no box. No markings anywhere. $3. It has a clear plastic case. I can't set it up in Windows as an 8 button controller. Anyone got any ideas on maybe who makes it and how I could possibly configure it right? This would be an awesome controller for Madden 2002 if someone could help me.
Thanks in Advance

Can you give me an idea what it looks like, I mean does it have two of those sticks like a PSX gamepad has?
I've seen something like that last year on a computer-fair.
something like this http://www.joystickreview.com/images/spectravideo/pcintruderpad.gif ? or this http://www.joystickreview.com/images/interact/propadadvanced.gif or this http://www.joystickreview.com/images/interact/pchammerheadfx.gif ?

nah it doesnt have those sticks like the dualshocl controllers do. Looks just like an original PSX controller, except it has turbo switches, a clear plastic case, and the buttons are numbered 1-8 instead of the circle, square, x, and so on

Well, it was in the clearance bin for $3. I knew what I was getting in to when I bought it. It'll use six buttons..... hopefully, eventually, I will get all 8 to work
