Changed computer from domain to workgroup, now password doesnt work.....

recently i changed the network on three seperate computers with three seperate logons from the domain to a Workgroup, because hte machine using windows server died.

when i rebooted the three computers would not allow me to logon. only oen of the three comps has a password but it doesnt work. the other two never had a password before but now it is asking for one.

Any idea or suggestion?

I've tried the offline NT password registry editor before and had mixed luck. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.

All of the computers should have a local computer Admin account anyway from when WIndows is installed. It is generally Administrator, so try that with whatever password you set it to. Also try it with no password in case you never set a password for the Admin account.

Then once you get access you will need to make local user accounts from there.
