Yesterday I ran the Sisoft Sandra benchmark and got 20 points or more in the benches, I didn't OC this comp more than it was and the benches taken a week or so ago were 20 points less or more. Could it be the burn in that helps?
I think u got 20 points less because of the K6-3's on die L2 cache. i hear OCing the chip will screw up the cache. I hear from some that the the K6-2+ makes a better overclocker than the K6-3 because of the lack of the On die L2 cache.

I mean, when I first overclocked it to 450 I got 20 points less than I got yesterday with the same speed.

perhaps you are suing low quailit componets and they have good and bad days, or you might have cleared the cmos and changed the memory setting?

I did put the memory module in another slot...
But I don't think my components are bad, I have a good CPU & Mobo & TNT2 Pro vid card... the FSB isn't even overclocked.
I didn't clear the CMOS, my mobo is fully jumpered anyway.
