FE = First Edition?

I assume M$ made some 'improvements' in stability etc. Like Win95 OSR1 v Win95 OSR2. no2 wins.

98 SE has some patches already installed that you normaly have to download with "windows update" for 98
also SE has ICS (internet connection sharing) while 98 does not
some extra driver support... nothing major

so if you have both, put SE in.... less downloading updates to do

Well thats right it has more "updates" installed and has an extra option of Internet Connection Sharing...

Oh and it has a SFC special file checker or something checks if your system is corrupted and stuff..

Nothing special..

BTW does SE have that "Windows Registry Checker?"
