Maybe somebody already posted something similar...
I have the mobo mentioned above, a 74G Raptor as Prim disk.
2 Deskstar 7K250 - 250GB in Raid0 and this is the prob. For some time all was nice, fast and great but after 1 month, the RAID array does not appear. BIOS seems to find it (at least the raid controller finds both deskstars) but nothing in Windows. Between several restarts the drive appears in Win, and the next day it is not there after booting. That is what really makes it strange for me, there does not seem to be a pattern at all.
To complete RAM is 2*512 Corsair XMS2 - Sapphire X850XT
Anybody with a similar config and similar issues?
I feel I spent a lot of money to have to buy more/better stuff
